It all started with a tick behind her ear.

It was a Saturday in July. I'd just brought Daisy home from a two hour walk along the trails near our house. I was taking off her collar when I felt it under my fingers a small hard bead, swollen, buried behind her right ear.

A tick. Already engorged.

And yet that morning, like every single month for three years, I'd applied her flea and tick treatment. The "good" one. The one my vet kept recommending. The one I paid $80 for every four weeks without ever asking a single question.

That afternoon I sat down at the kitchen table and did the one thing I should have done years before. I read the package insert. All of it. Line by line.

And I stopped.

The problem no one tells you about.

Every chemical flea and tick treatment collars, spot-ons, monthly chews works in exactly the same way. The toxic substance enters your dog's bloodstream. When a parasite bites and feeds, it ingests the poisoned blood and dies.

Read that again. The parasite has to bite your dog. It has to draw blood. Only then does the poison work.

The bite happens. Every time. Without exception.

Meanwhile, that same neurotoxic compound is processed every single month by your dog's liver and kidneys. It's on her fur when your kids hug her. It's on your hands when you pet her.

This is what they call protection.

The failure of "natural" alternatives.

I tried everything. The essential oil sprays they lasted four hours. The "barrier" shampoos one day. The herbal collars from Amazon forty dollars to find out that after a week of rain they didn't even smell anymore.

Every time, we came home with at least one tick. Every walk ended with the same paranoid ritual: fingers through her fur, behind the ears, between the toes, under the legs. Every time she scratched, my heart skipped.

I was living in constant anxiety. And she was living inside mine.

I realized the market was forcing me to choose between two failures: slowly poison my dog, or fail to protect her at all.

And I decided that wasn't acceptable.

The third way.

ArcaPaw™ was born from that Saturday in July, in 2024. It was born from the refusal of a compromise I'd always known was a lie.

We spent months working with herbalists, formulators, and European manufacturers to engineer a solution that was both natural and genuinely effective. Not a compromise. Not a more diluted version of something toxic. A completely different mechanism.

The ArcaPaw™ pendant contains a SmartRelease™ core loaded with six certified essential oils, Citronella, Peppermint, Chamomile, Cedarwood, Lemongrass, and Geranium in ratios calibrated down to the milligram.

Activated by your dog's body heat, the core diffuses a precise micro dose of oils every single day. Not a burst that burns out in 48 hours like a spray. A consistent concentration, identical on day one and day three hundred and sixty five.

The result is an invisible scent barrier that fleas, ticks, sandflies, and mosquitoes detect from a distance and instinctively avoid.

They don't approach. They don't bite. Nothing enters your dog's body, because nothing reaches her in the first place.

What drives us.

No compromise on ingredients. Every batch of essential oils is tested for purity, potency, and concentration before being sealed into our cores. No pyrethroids. No permethrin. No neurotoxins of any kind.

Science, not slogans. Every claim on our site is backed by measurable formulation, not marketing copy. The ratio between the six oils isn't arbitrary it's the result of dozens of combinations tested to find the synergy that actually works.

Radical transparency. If ArcaPaw™ doesn't work for your dog, you have 365 days to send it back. No questions. No conditions. Because a brand that genuinely believes in its product isn't afraid of time.

Today.

A few years have passed since that Saturday in July. Daisy still runs the trails, swims in the lake, rolls in tall grass. And I pet her wherever I want. Whenever I want. Without washing my hands afterwards. Without ever telling my kids "don't touch the collar."

ArcaPaw™ now protects 52,000+ dogs across Canada, Australia, and Europe. Each one is proof that the third way exists and that it works.

Your dog deserves the same.
